Go Skateboarding Day & World Music Day

The International Association of Skateboard Companies initiated Go Skateboarding Day to promote and encourage skateboarding. For more information visit  the IASC website.

World Music Day is also known as “La Fête de la Musique” (“the celebration of music”) as is was created in France. With the slogan “Faites de la musique”, a homophone of “Fête de la musique”, wich means “Make music”, the purpose of this celebration is to encourage musicians to perform on the streets and music lovers to organize and/or attend free concerts. All around the world musical activities are organised today.


World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development

This day, proclaimed ‘Diversity Day’ by the General Assembly of the United Nations, is an opportunity for all of us to appreciate the differences in each other’s cultures and to learn to “live together” better.

UNESCO also reminds us of the relationship between culture and development in which information and dialogue play an important role.
